Westbury Arts Centre will be celebrating the life of Beatrix Potter and the wonderful world of mushrooms and toadstools as part of it's Big Draw presentation this weekend .
Join wildlife artists and wildlife enthusiasts Kate Wyatt & Tony Barker on a journey of discovery on Friday (October 28) .
During the day you will be studying mushrooms and toadstools, an appropriate subject for Autumn, as well as looking at the work of Beatrix Potter.
Then you will create your own artwork exploring a range of different drawing media whether pencil, crayon, felt tips or natural found objects.
Westbury’s Big Draw is a celebration of art, about engaging children and their families and most of all, it’s about having fun!
The free event is open to all abilities - for those that can draw and for those who think they can’t. Children should be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
Westbury Arts Centre will welcome you between 11am-4pm, and there is no need to book, just drop in anytime throughout the day and enjoy the fun.
