Which piece of work are you most proud of and why?
At school [Chatham Technical High Sch. for Boys] age 14 did a large painting of the rock group, the Doors [really cool]. Only piece of work by any pupil that was ever hung on the wall in the main schools hall for me and the entire school to see and admire every morning at assembly.

Proud? Not half!

C. Olympia & TV

Did you choose art or did art choose you?
My father worked supplying art materials. So that's what I got at Christmas.
And Meccano, of course.

If you could choose 3 artists, living or dead, to create a masterpiece with, who would you choose, and why?
Van Gogh, Matisse and Rose Wylie.
To make wall art and put Banksy out of business, or least beat him to the best spots.

Tell us about your creative ambitions?
Possibly, some landscapes. Architecture of Milton Keynes. There's ambitious!
And I want to put piece in to RA Summer show this year.

A. Look - Back in Ingres
