Review by @Reelreviewer
I await - with pleasure! - any backlash from comic book film fans who have given this Margot Robbie starring (and produced), uber-violent epic nothing less than 5/5.
This film is possibly the most moronic, depressing, desensitising and boringly, repetitively aggressive cinematic experience I have ever had the displeasure to sit through.
Don't get me wrong, I can tolerate movie violence. I don't enjoy seeing it, but violence happens somewhere on earth at any point in time, so I have no problem with movies depicting it.
But when that's all they depict my eyes roll, I switch off, I want to vacate the planet.
There are some admirable things in this film - the production design and dressing, Robbie herself, but it's not enough to redeem an irredeemably poor production.
It is dull trash masquerading as flashy, post-feminist, 'Gurl Power' larks.
Avoid like the Coronavirus.
