Harry Potter night returns to Waterstones in Milton Keynes

Get your wands and broomsticks ready to celebrate 'Harry Potter Book Night 2019' at Waterstones intu in Milton Keynes.

J.K. Rowling first had the idea for Harry Potter while delayed on a train travelling from Manchester to London King’s Cross in 1990.

Her first novel, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, was published in 1997. In seven extraordinary books published over ten years, Harry’s story became a massive worldwide bestseller, breaking all records and winning the devotion of legions of fans.

This Thursday (February 7), Waterstones at intu MK is inviting fans (whether you are just old enough to read the books or as old as Nicholas Flamel) to its fifth spellbinding Harry Potter Book Night as they celebrate Hogwarts!

Be sorted by the Sorting Hat (if you don't know your house already), enjoy the Wizarding Welcome and sing the school song, spot some magical creatures, and try different activities including studying towards your O.W.L. (Ordinary Wizarding Levels) or N.E.W.T. (Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Tests for 7th Year students) in Herbology, Arithmancy and Astrology.

Become a moving portrait in the Headmaster’s study, place a memory in the Pensieve, and take part in the ever popular House Quiz - which house will win the House Cup?

Please apparate, port-key or hop on your broomstick and fly to WaterstonesMK in intu Milton Keynes for 6pm, dressed in your best costumes from the wonderful wizarding world of Harry Potter!
