On Thursday (June 28), WaterstonesMK is spending the evening in conversation with not one but TWO authors - Peter Newman and Den Patrick.
Following the discussion, there will be a chance for the audience to ask the authors questions, followed by the opportunity to buy books and get them signed.
Peter Newman is the author of the critically acclaimed, award-winning Vagrant trilogy (The Vagrant, The Malice, The Seven) for which his first book, The Vagrant, won the David Gemmell Morningstar Award in 2016 for best Fantasy Debut of the Year.
He sometimes pretends to be a butler for the Tea and Jeopardy podcast, which he co-writes and for which he won a Hugo Award in 2017.
Peter also writes for George R.R. Martin’s Wild Cards series and will first appear in Knaves Over Queens. He has written for the computer game Albion Online. The Deathless marks the start of his brand new series.
Celebrated fantasy author Den Patrick wrote the Erebus Sequence, published in 2014, and was nominated for the British Fantasy Society Award for Best Newcomer in 2015. Witchsign is the first novel in an exciting new fantasy trilogy, 'The Ashen Empire' series.
