This May, Milton Keynes’ beautiful and leafy Chicheley Hall will host two open-air film events, with screenings of The Grand Budapest Hotel and Bohemian Rhapsody within the scrumptious grounds of the hotel.
The Village Screen are well known in the North of England for taking over unusual and quirky venues in Sheffield, Manchester and the Peak District to screen cinematic classics.
Venues to date have included Edwardian swimming pools, natural caves, woodland areas and monasteries.
This is the first time they are venturing down south to bring their quirky and fun events to a luxurious hotel in Milton Keynes.
The Grand Budapest Hotel will be jumping onto their large, inflatable cinema screen on Thursday 23rd May.
This 2014 comedy starring Ralph Fiennes follows the adventures of the famous hotel’s devoted concierge set in the fictional Republic of Zubrowka. Zubrowka may be a million miles away from Chicheley Hall but the grounds of the hotel provide a spectacular setting to enjoy this film.
This is cinema darling, but not as you know it and shouldn’t be missed by both first-time viewers and lobby boy lovers!

This smash-hit celebrates the leading sensation that is Queen. Follow lead singer Freddie Mercury (played by Remi Malek) and immerse yourself in the life and the music of this amazing rock legend.
