Having struck up a friendship with Yungblud following the wonderful mural he created at Wolverton venue The Craufurd Arms, new city artist Luke McDonnell is fresh back from a 10-day trip to the Czech Republic.
He was invited out to Park 360 - one of the largest festival sites in Europe - with Yungblud and his team to hand paint bespoke designs on two large aircraft hangars for this year's third annual Bludfest festival.
"I spent about 10 days out there in the searing heat, painting everyday. I got to hang out with the band and they were all super complimentary," Luke told Total MK.
Luke has already been invited to collaborate with the Zombie singer again, with more adventures on the cards with him in 2027.
He has also been asked back to Park 360 to work on a huge festival called 'Rock for People' - organisers have commissioned Luke to paint 12 hangars!
"It's an absolutely gigantic job, and I can't wait to get started with that," he said, "The town was so beautiful too, with lots of great beer, and music on every corner.
"But when work is done and home is calling, it's time to swap the glamour for airport queues and limited legroom on the flight. Right?
Nope, actually: "I got on so well with the whole production team they flew me home a couple of days early on their private jet to be with my family," he smiled.
