Beatcheck is back in play on Saturday night (May 7) with a tasty bill being hosted at Wolverton hub The Craufurd Arms.
As usual, a Beatcheck night is a full on feast of the fabulous - this time they've pulled in Ugly Duckling, heading our way direct from Long Beach, California.
Expect a classic old school hip hop vibe from the long-standing purveyors of perfection. More than 20 years in, and these guys are staying true and keeping the sounds real.
Or, as the Beatcheck Monkey declares: "Their live shows have more bounce than a 12 year-old's pogo party."
Joining Jurassic 5's touring buddies for the Wolverton date will be Fingathing promising 'out of this world' sounds and a stage set up looking like something you might ordinarily find housed at NASA.
The best of Milton Keynes is on the bill too - Criminal Minds founding member Spatts is using the bash to launch his new album, Works of Friction and will be joined on stage by Uncle Mic Nitro and DJ Tones.
Tickets are £13 and you book them by visiting www.beatcheck.co.uk/events
