CARVING HIS OWN NICHE - ROLAN BOLAN LIVE AT THE CRAUFURD ARMS
Having a famous dad can be a blessing as much as a curse, and when your father is the much-celebrated and equally missed glam star Marc Bolan, that's quite some weight to carry on your shoulders.
It's something musician Rolan Bolan - who was just 18 months old when his father's life was cut tragically short in a car accident - has always known.
T-Rex frontman Marc Bolan was just 29 years old when he died, but he left behind a musical legacy that still shines bright today.
His son has no memory of his father, but still has to do battle with people's expectations: "Some people expect to see and hear something that they're not going to see," he says.
With that in mind, you should leave any preconceived ideas at the door, but take a ticket to see him this Friday evening (Nov 7) when he plays live at The Craufurd Arms in Wolverton.
Tickets to see the man Time Out describes as 'a hungrier Lenny Kravitz' are on sale at £10.
Doors open at 7.30pm and support will come from The Brink.
