FESTIVAL FRINGE: HAVE A RIGHT GOOD LAUGH WITH THE COMEDY COW
Forget laughing, it'll be a crying shame if you don't pop along to see at least one of the acts partaking in this weekend's Comedy Festival, at The Crown.
The Comedy Cow is taking over the Stony Stratford haunt for their comedy festival, which is part of the current MK Fringe Festival.
And what a lot they've got for you - 40 funny folks showing out across the two days in the pub that famously featured in the film Withnail and I, of course.
Bob Mills (above) is taking main billing on Saturday night - a familiar on the small screen, he has hosted hundreds of tv shows, written five television series, and a movie.
TalkSport fans will know him from his Bob Mills goes Postal slot, heard every Friday evening.
Or how about the arresting Alfie Moore (below), one tIme officer of the law turned smile bringer, or MotD regular Kevin Day?
From America, enjoy Al Lubel, or check Welsh-Egyptian comic Omar Hamdi (out on tour in 2013 with Russell Kane).
Lynn Ruth Miller won the Time Out award for her show Granny's Gone Wild last year, and she will stop by for your entertainment early on the Saturday evening.
Andrew Lawrence will preview his dead good show Reason to Kill Yourself on Sunday evening, and there are plenty more stars from BBC3 and ITV2 to spend time with - Ellie Taylor (below), Carly Smallman, Gareth Richards and Tom Craine.
Comedy starlet Abi Roberts presents her show Twerk in Progress, and Paul Savage (top) will try to Find Every Joke in The Bible.
Kids will be catered for too, with Mike Belgrave (below) and his Krazy Komedy Show 4 Kids, and Jay Foreman's Disgusting Songs for Revolting Children.
If you want late night action on Saturday, you'll get your fill with Cabaret act Rayguns Look Real Enough, appearing with us relatively fresh from their appearance in the Glastonbury fields.
The Comedy Cow will also be giving a preview of their Edinburgh Fringe show Prime Cut, and local fellas Jimmy James Jones and Mark Cram both have hour-long sets for you.
Things take a turn for the funny side on Saturday and Sunday, midday 'til late both days.
Show tickets are a fiver, but if you book for five shows or more' you'll get a 20% discount.
