It is one of the biggest dates on the hard and heavy musical calendar, and Download is now less than six weeks away.
Headliners
Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park and
Aerosmith (below) will be joined by artists as varied as
Rob Zombie and
Status Quo.

You'll need plenty of stamina - with more than 140 bands ready to let rip at the 12th annual event.
If you like rock, there are plenty of reasons to love Download, which is in easy reach of Milton Keynes, and transforms Donington Park into a mecca for metal every June.
"This is shaping up to be the most diverse Download yet - a real tableau of the past present and future of rock and metal," says
Download promoter Andy Copping.
The multi-stage event - between June 13 & 15 - will also feature stalwart punk-pop courtesy of
The Offspring, tongue-in-cheek hair-metallers
Steel Panther (below) and the reformed
Fall Out Boy.

Irish-rockers
The Answer, space-age rockers
Monster Magnet, and thrash icons
Sepultura are all on the bill, along with Welsh-fusionists
Skindred, Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society and guitarist extraordinaire
Joe Bonamassa.
Bon Jovi guitarist
Richie Sambora will appear, and one-time Queens of the Stone Age bassist
Nick Oliveri is a recent addition to a crammed weekend of the heavy, heavy.
When you want to step away from the music, you'll find plenty to occupy your time - after hours madness will reign at
Download's raucous nightclub, the Doghouse which will be manned by star DJs, and the usual veritable feast of fun, stalls and entertainment will keep you fed, watered and amused.
And to help you get sorted for the big event,
Download bods have just launched a free app with all the latest news, info and advice delivered direct to your phone.
TotalMK will bring lots more Download deliveries your way in the coming weeks, and remember to check www.downloadfestival.co.uk
