The greatly named Fickle Friends bring their indie-pop deliveries to Bedford Esquires this Saturday night (Feb 6), off the back of their shimmering single Say No More.
That sound is the resulting style when a splurge of 80s synth sorts merges with a strong bass line and grooving chorus.
It's a nice little ditty, and there's more where that lot came from, as the Brighton-based quintet will share with you at the show, which is part of a 28 date UK headlining stint.
Fickle Friends have proven quite the unit as it happens, and have spent the past two years touring relentlessly, and the old approach is a winning one – last month they inked a deal with Polydor Records.
An album is now on the cards before the year end.
