2-Tone fans will want to hot foot it to Bedford Corn Exchange on Saturday (Feb 20) evening, when the Queen of the Rude Girls takes her position at the front of The Selecter for another live wire night.
The last time the Pauline Black headed troupe hit the haunt they nearly left structural damage in their wake.
Well, they nearly lifted the roof, at any rate!
Unlike so many of their peers though, this reformed rabble – which now includes Neil Pyzer (Spear of Destiny) and Will Crewdson (Rachel Stamp...Ooh, we remember those Stamp MK gigs so well) and is co-fronted by original member Arthur 'Gaps' Hendrickson – is still a band pushing forth and creatively on form.
Since coming back to the stage, the band has recorded a trio of new albums, the most recent being Subculture, and shaken festival audiences.
Listen out for a 'selector' of newbie noise alongside classic cuts like On My Radio, Missing Words and Three Minute Hero.
Tickets are on sale at £18 in advance and doors open at 7.30pm.
