Hannah's Yard launched their new single on Friday.
I Want You could be considered as a musical aperitif for their debut album, which is expected to be released this side of Christmas.
The Olney-based band, fronted by the vocally suss Hannah Layton Turner, have teased the album's content as a 'collection of meaningful songs about life and love.'
One of the tracks features a recording of Hannah, when she was just 15 years old – just after meeting musicians Barnbaby Pinny and James Reader for the first time.
Since first stepping into the spotlight last September, Hannah's Yard have received firm backing from regional radio with cross-station airplay giving the impetus to forge ahead, hence this new release.
It is, they say, 'a quirky single with a straightforward message, albeit tied-up in a tongue-twisting lyric!'
