There is another chance to hear the 'extraordinary voices of ordinary people' recorded for Living Archive on Saturday (May 21) when the Archive band plays the songs their memories inspired.
'I didn't hate those chaps I killed...they were probably nice young chaps with a family,' said Hawtin Mundy, a New Bradwell resident for close to nine decades.
His words were describing his time in the Great War.
Just one of the many remarkable memories that will be shared at Saturday show, taking place at York House in Stony Stratford.
Visuals will accompany the event, taking you back to days long since passed.
This is a chance to connect with the reality of lives lived in the place that eventually became our new city.
So far as the sounds are concerned, you can get set for first class music that those who make it claim is home grown and universal.
Show time is 7pm, and tickets are £7. The pennies and pounds raised at the show will be ploughed back into the Living Archive, allowing it to continue to 'record, cherish and celebrate' Milton Keynes, and those of us who call it home.
Purchase yours from Odells and Co. in Stony Stratford or at MK Museum.
