MK PLAYER BAILEY SHOWS THAT BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT!
Milton Keynes showed it had talent last night, when young singer-songwriter Bailey McConnell stepped up to show his ace ability on Britain's Got Talent.
Bailey received his first guitar for Christmas 2012, and has quickly built up plenty of support in MK for his musical deliveries, but yesterday his own composition aired before millions...and did nationally what he has already done locally.
Judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams voted unanimously to put Bailey through to the second round.
Simon Cowell wasn't on the judging panel - called away for the birth of his son - but has been quoted saying "I absolutely loved his audition. He has tremendous potential and the fact he writes his own material is a great sign.
"I would have voted 100 per cent if I would have been there."
It wasn't only the judges who gave Bailey the thumbs up though. Within hours of the performance airing, fan sites began cropping up online and his twitter profile had swelled significantly, with thousands flocking to keep tabs on our rising talent.
www.totalmk.co.uk wishes him well for the next round.
