MUSIC IN THE PARK - BACK FOR THE FIFTH YEAR OF FUNDRAISING
Music in the Park - or MK17 - is back for its fifth annual outing this Sunday (July 6).
The event - at Hammond Park in Newton Longville - is being held in support of The Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
This year, MK17 - sponsored in part by Marshall Amplification - is headlined by MK rock mob Wait for Jude, with a fetching support cast also featuring Sketched (above), Fishwife's Broadside, Top Banana, Wade, Streetlight and Rawset on the Main Stage.
The Acoustic Stage will be just as busy with The Ozarks, Rich J Hopkins, Alex Eddy, Hannah Faulkner (below), Three's A Crowd and Newton Longville Hot Club helping to swell the coffers while entertaining the assembled.
Music aside and the event will also boast entertainment for the kids, food, a bar, and various stalls.
It'll cost a few quid to attend though, right? Wrong. Admission is free.
If you are able, pop along between 11am and 8pm, enjoy some cracking live music and show your thanks by handing over a donation or purchasing a few tickets for the raffle, to help benefit a really worthwhile cause.
