OUR CAROLE'S 25TH NOVEL DAZZLES IN SUNDAY TIMES BEST-SELLER LIST
City author Carole Matthews is already feeling festive thanks to the popularity of her latest paperback.
‘The Christmas Party’ is Carole’s 25th book and, to the delight of both the romantic comedy writer and her fans, it entered the Sunday Times bestseller list at number seven this week. Even better, Carole has just found out that the milestone novel has held on to the same position for the list set to be published this coming Sunday too.
Carole said: “I feel so blessed to have had a career as an author that's spanned eighteen years and twenty-five books. It’s also nice to be able to set so many of them in Milton Keynes, the place where I’ve lived for the last fifteen years.”
Carole is an internationally bestselling author and her warm and witty books take pride of place on bookshelves in more than 30 different countries. She writes two books a year from her home here in the new city, which she shares with her partner Lovely Kev.
‘The Christmas Party’ is set in Milton Keynes and follows devoted single mother Louise Young as she experiences her very first corporate Christmas party, encountering romance, office secrets and drama along the way. The only thing anyone can be sure of is that it is going to be a night to remember…
