Forest Folk and Roots continues its acoustic music promotion this week, bringing a young band from Carmarthenshire to The College Arms Bar in Cranfield.
Brother and sister duo Martha and Josh had been playing together since they were 12 and were joined three years later by Will on bass, adding an upbeat to sound to many of the songs. Collectively, they are known as Platform One.
They have now built up a firm fan base, who warm to their modern melodic contemporary folk with added sides of electric and bass.
The band’s influences are wide-ranging covering everything from mellow indie-folk-pop to heavier rock.
Support at Friday's date (July 21) is coming from young Bedfordian Joe Bygraves.
Doors open at 7:30 and the music will go live from 8pm
