Sarpa Salpa return to The Roadmender on Friday (December 27) for a special Christmas hometown show to wrap up 2019!
Northampton's Sarpa Salpa went in 2019 as ones to watch following a hectic year playing over 60 shows and 20 festivals including The Big Feastival, Wilkestock and BBC Introducing Live.
Following their first two releases She Never Lies & Circuits, Sarpa Salpa released their track Smith on 7” vinyl in late 2018, picking up favourable reviews and gaining airplay on BBC 6 Music.

The band gained further recognition in February 2019 with Casanova. The track received multiple plays from BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio 1 after being selected as BBC Introducing Radio 1 Track of the Week in March 2019. This was followed up with packed out headline shows at Camden Assembly, Bedford Esquires and Northampton's Roadmender.
Sarpa Salpa released their latest single Before It Goes Dark in August 2019, receiving multiple plays on BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Amazing Radio as well as being added to the Radio X Evening Playlist.
Support at the seasonal hometown show comes from Elijah Miller, Baby Lung and Krankhead.
