Shvpes wrap up their current UK tour this coming week, with a hotly anticipated show at The Craufurd Arms in Wolverton.
The band have just issued their second album too; Greater Than was released at the start of the month.
They pulled in a special guest for one track; Matt Healy of Trivium, one of Shvpes biggest inspirations, collaborated on Rian.
"That just seemed like the perfect part," said Shvpes frontman Griffin Dickinson, "because we didn't want to give him a screamy-shouty verse, we wanted to do something a bit different. We put about 10 takes of him on there, so we've got this vocal gang monster!"
Since releasing their long-playing debut, Pain. Joy. Ecstasy. Despair. in 2016, the band has been on the rise and rise, touring Europe with some of the biggest names in hard rock, including the aforementioned Trivium and Bullet For My Valentine.
They are now a well-oiled machine and ready to floor you. In the best sense...
Catch them at The Craufurd Arms on Tuesday evening (Nov 20).
