In Bedford, The Pad Presents Blossoms this Saturday night (Feb 7) at Esquires.
This is the first time the Indie-Psych sorts have appeared in the area as the main pull.
The Manchester mob take the current trend for all things psych and weld it to chiming pop classicism.
Ask those in the know, and they'll tell you 'there's something of a Doors-ish mysticism with front man Tom Ogden's vocals twisting through woozy melodies and guitar lines, while a distinctive organ sound further cranks up the sonorous vibes.'
But then the band stir things still further with a Merseybeat-seque pop sensibility on hand.
Seemingly, Blossoms have it all going on.
