Tickets to see Sophie Ellis-Bextor at the Marshall Arena this spring go on sale this morning.
The pop icon will play the Marshall Arena on April 11.
Sohpie will perform her back catalogue of massive hits while the infamous Sink The Pink drag troupe will bring the accompanying videos to life, live on stage in a vibrant and fabulous extravaganza.
This spectacular musical celebration of equality, love and pride follows Sink The Pink’s successful collaboration with Melanie C last year and is sure to draw huge crowds of the camp and the colourful to join in the excitement.
Sophie Ellis-Bextor shot to fame as a vocalist on Spiller’s global smash hit ‘Groovejet’ and followed up with ‘Take Me Home’ and ‘Murder On The Dancefloor’ to cement her place as one of the UK’s best loved pop aces.
Her debut solo album Read My Lips sold more than two million copies and went double platinum.
Sophie's catchy mix of electro-pop and nu-disco together with her inimitable style and sense of fun drew a large following from the LGBTQ+ community, a relationship she has always supported and fully embraced.
So it's no surprise then that she has joined up once again with Britain’s best queer-club-turned-movement, Sink The Pink, and the Marshall Arena is the perfect venue – the biggest indoor space in the region it provides a blank canvas for dazzling displays and big production.
