Tenderlore to play for Forest Folk And Roots near Milton Keynes

Alternative-Folk trio Tenderlore are rich in harmony and lyrical intent blending three individual musical voices together as one though breath-taking harmonies.

And next Friday (March 22), they'll bring their rich vocal textures and exciting guitar based songs to entrance you, with a show for the Forest Folk and Roots brand at The College Arms in Cranfield.

The trio, Hayley McDonnell, Olly Lewis and Rob Kitney met whilst at university in Southampton as fellow singer/songwriters.

Their elegantly crafted songs and finely woven harmonies make for enthralling live performances. Not only are they highly adept vocalists, but are fantastic all-round musicians.

They swap between the three of them throughout their set acoustic guitars, banjo, mandolin and luscious electric guitar, each playing with a unique, varyingly accomplished style.
Vocally, they each bring a tender delicacy that is then augmented by an impressive power that is never overstated or superfluous.

Inspired by the likes of Crosby, Stills and Nash, Simon & Garfunkel, Fleet Foxes and Laura Marling, Tenderlore’s unique sound is the amalgamation of three individual musical identities blending perfectly as one.
Their long anticipated second studio album, Ty Crwn (which means “Round House” in Welsh) sees the trio expand to a five piece and go electric, with the addition of bass and drums duo David Phillips and Ross Gordon. The subject matter of the album is rooted in a sense of community and family.

Support comes from Milton Keynes based acoustic solo artist Abigail Maxwell.

Advance tickets are £10 (£5 for students) and you get them direct from The College Arms or online here
