Fresh faced Cambridgeshire based Mortal Tides are causing a storm on the indie-folk scene and perform at The College Arms in Cranfield this Friday (September 18).
Forest Folk and Roots’ is a monthly acoustic music night that brings together nationally acclaimed musicians and bands with budding locals.
Since the night's launched earlier this year, FF&R has welcomed the likes of Fred’s House, The Gerry Colvin Band and Danni Nicholls onto the stage and after moving to a Friday night, the autumn season continues this week, kicking off with the Mortal Tides who will be jamming on the platform. The youngsters recorded their first EP in 2013 when they were all aged between 14 to 16 years old. Impressive.
A gig at Cambridge’s Junction venue saw the band's young fan base begin to swell, and they have recently finished recording their debut album.
Bedford based Gwinny, a gifted multi-instrumentalist, will be supporting.
