TODAY: NICK OLIVERI LIVE AT THE CRAUFURD ARMS
Nick Oliveri will headline the Jagermeister Acoustic Stage of the Donington Download Festival tomorrow - but first there is the small matter of an acoustic date at The Craufurd Arms this evening (Sat, June 14).
The Mondo Generator founder and former Queens of the Stone Age bassist is on tour in the UK, playing a hardcore 19 shows in 20 days, and stops by the Wolverton venue this evening.
"I want to play and have some fun," he told Total MK.
"I'm gonna play some new stuff and a bunch of different stuff from bands I've played in, and just things I like to play...if someone yells out a tune and I know how to do it, I'll accommodate.
"I'll have some people come up onstage too and get involved. There is no barriers and junk like that, it's more intimate.
"Everyone is part of the show just like I am."
Copies of the new single, Human Cannonball Explodes will be available at the gig. The single is lifted from the album Leave Me Alone, set for release on September 15th.
Tickets are £6, doors open at 7pm.
