Togfest, the small family-friendly festival with the big reputation, takes place on June 23 and 24 at Bradwell Abbey.
The venue is a haven of historic beauty, a perfect setting for a relaxing weekend listening to a range of excellent music.
There will be a bar devoted to real ale, a general bar, lots of festival stalls, children’s activities and yummy food providers.
On Saturday a free bouncy castle will please the younger children and they will be able to make something creative at the craft activities stall. Camping is provided on Friday and Saturday night on the festival site, accommodating tents, campervans and caravans.
Some of the bands confirmed this year are Dirty Bizness, Jasper in the Company of Others (pictured), Jonny and the Mental Breakdown, Kalon Rae, Late Night Legacy, Bea Munro, Steve Young and, as tradition demands, the celebrations will close with a set from local legend, Togmor.
Festival director, Ian Rowe, said: “With the rest of Milton Keynes we will be playing our part in the 50th anniversary. The original Togfest in 1998 was just a party, but in true new-city style, the event has grown and grown. It now is a prestigious festival, with an enviable reputation, where bands queue to perform.”
