Arts collective Where Two Rivers Meet are gearing up for their biggest line up yet with this month's The Parlor Sessions.
The promotion is bringing singer-songwriter Jon Gomm to headline on Saturday, September 14.
Last year, Jon's song Passionflower was placed sixth in Total Guitar's '50 Greatest Acoustic Guitar Songs Of All Time', just behind The Beatles' Blackbird and Tears In Heaven by Eric Clapton. Pretty great company to be in!
Tommy Lee from Motley Crue is a fan, too: “Hands down the most amazing guitarist I have ever seen!” he said.
Jon won't be going it alone, though - Katie Malco and Joel Harries will support at the bash, being hosted at the Church of St Peter & St Paul in Newport Pagnell.
Expect sweeping melodies from singer-songwriter Katie, electric guitar in hand, who is fresh back from her solo US tour.
Joel will deliver an intimate set full of realism, biting critiques and insights set to a palette of intricate sounds.
As well as giving locals some much-requested live music, Where Two Rivers Meet events also raise funds for the medieval church of St Peter and St Paul’s, making the most of its incredible acoustics, filling it with atmospheric sound and light.
