MK Community Foundation and full service marketing agency Interdirect have teamed up to challenge local businesses to complete the #GivingTuesday Challenge Cup this winter.
MK Dons SET, Snozone, Ellis Brigham and Bounce are setting sporting challenges for business teams to compete against each other to win the Challenge Cup and raise as much money as possible in just one day.
#GivingTuesday, the international day of giving, comes to MK for the second year and local businesses will be fundraising to save lives in MK. Money raised on the day will go towards MK Community Foundation’s Surviving Winter fund, helping vulnerable people in MK survive the tough winter months.
Think your colleagues are up for the challenge?
“We’ve got space for nine teams to join us in this fantastic day of international giving”, says Nicholas Mann, managing director of Interdirect.
“Last year, we were proud to take on the challenge alone and helped to raise more than £1,200 for the Surviving Winter fund. It was great to have the support of so many activity centres in Milton Keynes, and we saw tremendous reach on social media
“I can’t encourage you enough to sign up for this challenge and give anything you can on #GivingTuesday to help us raise awareness and funds for this fantastic cause.”
Speaking of their support, John Cove, Chief Executive, MK Dons Sport and Education Trust said; “MK Dons SET are so proud to be part of this fantastic challenge, the money raised for the Surviving Winter fund really does help those most in need. Please give whatever you can on #GivingTuesday.”
