Bradwell Silver Band held its Spring concert and Awards Presentation at the end of April, launching a busy season of engagements in their home parish of New Bradwell, at St James Church.
A capacity audience performed a varied selection of music to suit all tastes under the baton of musical director, Brian Keech.
The evening featured soloists including Principal Cornet Julia Hollis playing the well-known arrangement of Ben; young Adam Chappell on Soprano Cornet charmed the audience with The Theme from Miss Marple and Fraser Cousins, our final soloist gave a fabulous performance of Rhapsody for Euphonium.
A lively rendition of It's Not Unusual by the Trombone Section was very well received with the audience singing and swaying along to the famous tune.
We are proud to support new players of any age with free tuition and loan of instruments and can now boast a Development Band 23 members strong.
With leadership from their conductor Keith Jones, the Development Band impressed all in the church with their progress and stage presence.
