CATS PROTECTION: FORGET BACK CHAT, HAVE YOU TRIED CAT CHAT?!

Do you want to learn to 'speak' cat?

There's more to the art of feline chat than a simple miaow, you know, and Alexandra Taylor will teach you all you need to know.

Alexandra, below, specialises in puddy-tats as a veterinary nurse, and volunteers for the Cats Protection branch here in Milton Keynes.

Now she is using her knowledge of cat health, behaviour and welfare to help owners learn more about the fluffy four-legged sorts.

I adore cats and am conducting workshops in various places including schools, community groups and care homes on behalf of Cats Protection in order to teach people more about feline health and behaviour,” Alexandra said.

Cat matters covered include feline body language, environmental enrichment and welfare.

The talks are free, but a donation to the branch would allow the charity to continue its essential work, caring for the ever growing numbers of animals that need help each year.

The MK branch of Cats Protection is staffed entirely by volunteers and has been active in Milton Keynes for more than 20 years.

It has also established a cat neutering project to help owners who are on low incomes pensions or students in the city.
