COMPETITION: WIN COPIES OF BLETCHLEY PARK - THE SECRET ARCHIVES

Bletchley Park – The Secret Archives is a special edition of Sinclair McKay's brilliant book about the Enigma cracking centre.  Newly designed and fully updated, it is released this week.

Today, Bletchley Park is renowned for the role it played in the Second World War.

It was the place where secrecy was paramount, Ian Fleming and Alan Turing held vital roles and code-breaking helped us to win the war.

Modern computing was invented there and without Bletchley, our intelligence services would be far behind where they are today.

Best-selling author Sinclair is also responsible for The Secret Life of Bletchley Park and the Secret Listeners. Working in conjunction with the Park he has created this spanking new collector's edition which will take attentions for its new documents and illustrations, and removable memorabilia.

Reproductions include top secret, never-seen-before memos to pull out and read, including Alan Turing's annotated notes about cracking Enigma.

It's a brilliant page-turner that will make a nice addition to the book shelves of anyone with an interest in our recent history.
