Cyclist in hospital with serious injury after collision in Milton Keynes

Police in Milton Keynes are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision which left one man in hospital with a serious injury.

The collision happened at around 11.20pm last night (August 24), between a cyclist and a red Volvo S60 in Kellan Drive, Fishermead.

The cyclist, a man in his thirties, was taken to Milton Keynes Hospital with a serious leg injury. He remains in hospital.

Investigating officer PC Steve Leathersich of the Milton Keynes Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have dash-cam footage from the area around that time on Saturday to contact us.

“If you saw either the car or the cyclist before the incident, it would be helpful to speak to you.

“Anyone with any information should call the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 43190262341 or make a report online.

“You can also make a report to the independent charity Crimestoppers 100% anonymously by calling 0800 555 111.”
