intu Milton Keynes is helping to make the festive season a happy time for as many people as possible, with the launch of its Christmas Generosity Tree.
Customers can donate a present for someone less fortunate than themselves this Christmas and, for the first year, intu Milton Keynes has teamed up with the Milton Keynes Hospital Charity.
“Christmas is a wonderful opportunity to give to others and the Generosity Tree is an exciting new project that we hope will bring smiles to hundreds of people over the festive period,” said Shelley Peppard, general manager at intu Milton Keynes.
Milton Keynes Hospital Charity is looking for donations for all ages from new-born to older patients – all they ask is that the gifts are brand new and non-perishable.
To donate to the Generosity Tree, visit the Customer Information Desk (next to Debenhams), select an age group you would like to donate to, purchase a present and bring it back to the desk.
Vanessa Holmes, head of fundraising at Milton Keynes Hospital Charity said, “We’re so pleased to be working with intu Milton Keynes on this project.
"Christmas can be a particularly difficult time for patients not well enough to be at home with their families over the festive season.
"So that’s why the Christmas Generosity Tree will make a difference – every gift will help those in hospital and hopefully give them a smile!”
