The A421 between the Eagle Farm Roundabout up to M1 Junction 13 will be closed temporarily on these dates:
Wednesday July 22 from 8pm until 6am Thursday July 23
Thursday July 23 from 8pm until 6am Friday July 24
Friday July 24 from 8pm until 6am Saturday July 25
The overnight closures will allow work to be carried out safely on the safety barrier and verge, to undertake surfacing works, white lining and street lighting.
Closures are only planned when the M1 road is due to be open. However, the diversion routes show the alternative routes for drivers who can’t or who don’t want to use the motorway.
There is a diversion route for drivers who would normally take the A421. This route avoids villages and goes via the A421 Bedford Western Bypass and then the A422 towards Milton Keynes.
