Father and daughter injured in collision in Milton Keynes

Police in Milton Keynes are appealing for witnesses following an incident of dangerous driving in Bletchley left two people injured - one with a broken leg.

At 6pm on Wednesday (16/1) two pedestrians, a father and daughter, were walking along a footpath in Buckingham Road, when a white BMW drove up the footpath where it clipped the male pedestrian.

The female pedestrian was also struck and landed on its bonnet, and the vehicle failed to stop after the woman fell from the bonnet.

The victim, a 19-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries. The other pedestrian, a 45-year-old man, sustained a broken leg.

Investigating officer PC Christopher Ruvolo-Jones said: “I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this collision or who has any information which may assist our investigation. I would particularly ask people to keep an eye out for a white BMW with front nearside damage and report any sightings to police.

“Additionally, if you know who was driving the vehicle or this was you, please come forward and speak to officers.

“It was fortunate that the consequences of this collision were not far more serious.”
