Get your wellies on, dress up warm, bring the family – and a torch - and prepare to be wowed by the return of Paraffinalia in Campbell Park this December.
This year’s show promises to be the biggest so far, with live performance, giant puppetry, pyrotechnics and specially created music.
For the main event you will be taken on a journey through a portal into ‘the other world’... where we find the red knight on his winter throne, his quest is frozen and his heart immovable...but not for long.
The fire will be brought into his cold blue world and he must overcome the challenge of the Red Knight before the great dragon of all dragons is eventually called!
Hot food will be available to purchase; bring some marshmallows too if you like - there’ll be open fires; extraordinary light installations; a lantern parade; interactive activities; plus an amazing finale spectacular!
Come and find Gywnhaff the Dragon; the frozen world of ‘ICE’; light a candle for a loved one; and get up close to some amazing creatures and attractions.
There will be heaps to see, do and explore for all ages!
The event will roll between 6pm and 8pm and admission is free.
> Before the big event, why not step up for the lantern making workshop at Festive Road on Sunday, December 4?
They are running two sessions – one in the morning 10.30am -1pm, and one in the afternoon 2pm - 4.30pm ...and they’ll be making dragons too!
All ages and abilities, and families, are welcome. A fee will be charged to cover materials and booking is essential as places are limited.
