Residents and commuters in Milton Keynes are to get a glimpse into how Station Square could look in the future as part of an ongoing consultation process.
Milton Keynes Development Partnership (MKDP) is hosting a stand at the MK Futures: A Journey to 2050 exhibition being staged in Middleton Hall in Centre: MK today (Thursday, July 4) until Sunday, July 7th.
The stand will feature some options to explore the scale of potential change that could be introduced in Station Square in the years ahead; from improvements to the public space to new buildings as well as looking at ways to improve transport and pedestrian movement in and around the square.
On Friday at the exhibition MKDP’s Special Projects Director, Tim Roxburgh, will be taking part in a panel discussion at 3pm and on Saturday Maria Curran, MKDP’s Development Executive – Placemaking, will be speaking at 1pm.
Stands outlining the consultation will also be on display at Milton Keynes Central station on Thursday, July 11th.
MKDP staff will be on hand at both events to talk through the different scenarios and register interest and suggestions. Anyone unable to visit the exhibition or the station on these dates will be able to see details on the MKDP’s website - here - from Monday, July 8.
