An amazing 391 couples gathered at Bletchley Park on Saturday evening to attempt a Guinness World Record for The Largest Swing Dance Lesson.
The couples took part in a half hour lesson followed by a three-minute dance which was instructed and led by swing dance club, JiveSwing.
Guests of all ages arrived at the event in style, dressed in 1940s attire ready to swing dance into the record books.
The evening kicked off with a DJ and live performances from The Jive Aces and The John Petter's Swing Band as attendees learnt their moves on the lawn in front of the iconic Mansion ahead of the record.
The successful record attempt lasted around 45 minutes as everyone got involved in the fun, enjoying the music and soaking-up the great atmosphere on a warm summer's evening.
An Official Guinness World Records adjudicator and witness attended the unforgettable event to verify the attempt and confirm that Bletchley Park had officially broken their first ever world record.
Poppy Wille, project manager for the event said: "It is such an honour to be awarded the Guinness World Records title for The Largest Swing Dance Lesson. Thank you so much to those that came along and took part, we are so grateful!
"It has been an incredible experience and I am thankful to everyone that made the night such a success".
