Almost 700 Santas descended on Willen Lake on Sunday (17 December) for the annual Willen Hospice Santa Dash.
The event saw people of all ages and more than 70 dogs, run, jog or walk 1.2km to support the local charity.
The event has raised over £12,000 so far, which will support the Hospice to provide compassionate, specialist end-of-life care to people in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas.
Sarah Sweet-Rowley, events manager at Willen Hospice, said “What an amazing morning, this event really puts the fun in fundraising! Thank you to everyone who took part. There was a brilliant atmosphere down at the lake and most importantly, those who took part have helped us raise a fantastic amount to support their local Hospice.”
Willen Hospice needs to raise £7 every minute of the year from the local community. Events like Santa Dash are just one of the ways people can support the Hospice. To find out more, visit www.willen-hospice.co.uk
