intu Milton Keynes call for acts of kindness stories for Mental Health Week

intu Milton Keynes is calling for people across the region to share stories about acts of kindness, in support of Mental Health Awareness Week.

The shopping destination believes now more than ever, being kind and showing compassion is vital to mental health and wellbeing, so it’s asking MK locals to nominate someone who has gone above and beyond to help others during this challenging time, by sharing their story via its Facebook page.

As a token of gratitude, intu Milton Keynes will select one story and the person who carried out the kind act in the story will receive a £25 intu gift card to enjoy in-centre once it fully reopens.

Shelley Peppard, general manager at intu Milton Keynes, said: “We would love to hear what has been happening in our community to support others. So if you know someone who has helped a neighbour, collected prescriptions, helped somebody in isolation feel connected in one way or other, delivered a daily newspaper, or even stitched some PPE, or supported a charity in some way during lockdown, we’d love to hear from you and celebrate these acts of kindness.”
