Following a £2m refurbishment programme, Jurys Inn Milton Keynes pulled back the covers and showed its fresh, fabulous new look at the official launch party last night (April 23).
The Great Gatsby style party featured entertainment from a 1920's band, with flapper dancers helping the glamorous feel.
Guests enjoyed a champagne reception and cocktails as they soaked up the surroundings. Milton Keynes Mayor Derek Eastman cut the ribbon on the new era for the hotel.
“We’re delighted to celebrate the completion of Jurys Inn Milton Keynes refurbishment programme, in style,” said Jurys Inn CEO John Brennan.
“The hotel has been in operation for eight years now, and during this time it has delivered stand-out customer service for business and leisure travellers. We’re delighted to have re-invested in the hotel and continue to meet the expectations of our visitors.”
The 297 bedroom hotel has undergone a transformation of all its bedrooms and a refurbished ground floor area.
Chic furnishings, bright contemporary décor and complimentary WiFi now feature throughout the hotel.
We have seen a significant transformation over the last six months and we’re very excited about our new executive room offering, as well as the transformed lobby, bar and restaurant area,” said interim general manager Georgina Wylie.
“We have a great offering for both our leisure and business customers, coupled with our commitment to excellent customer service, so we’re looking forward to welcoming new and existing guests through our doors.”
