The Rotary Club of Milton Keynes held its annual Steam competition at Ousedale School last month, with students from across Milton Keynes put their skills and ingenuity to the test.
The brief for the teams was to attend to a hazardous spill, manoeuvre their models to the site going under a bridge, lower and hook on a magnet to the barrel, lift it vertically up and back (without touching the bridge) and return the barrel back to the start.
The winning team from Lord Grey Academy (James, Ubayedul, Izzy and Daniel) received prizes including a personal invitation to visit the Aston Martin Factory, and a cheque for £200 - which will go towards a desktop 3D printer for the academy.
