Man jailed for burglary and fraud in Milton Keynes

Following a police investigation, a Milton Keynes man has been sentenced for burglary and fraud offences.

Kevin Emery, aged 38, of Granby Court, Bletchley pleaded guilty to one count of burglary and two counts of fraud at Aylesbury Crown Court on Thursday, September 12.

Emery was sentenced the following day to three years and 20 days’ imprisonment.

The charges are in relation to an incident on June 30 this year in which Emery took bank cards and a television from a property in Bridgeford Court and subsequently used the cards to purchase various goods the next day.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Matt Acland, from Milton Keynes police station, said: “I am pleased that Emery has been brought to justice.

“Thames Valley Police do not tolerate this behaviour and will robustly investigate the reports that we receive in order to bring offenders before the courts.”
