Police are appealing for witnesses after a man sustained a broken leg in an assault in Milton Keynes.
The incident occurred at around 9.30pm on Saturday, May 4 in the garden of the Kensington public house in Kensington Drive, Great Holm when the victim, a man in his fifties, was attacked and knocked unconscious.
The victim sustained cuts and bruises to his face as well as a broken leg and was taken to Milton Keynes University Hospital for treatment.
Investigating officer Detective Constable John Swallow said: “This was an assault which left the victim with a broken leg.
“I believe that the pub was very busy with customers watching a football match, and I think many people may have witnessed the incident which occurred in the beer garden.
“I am urging anybody with any information to contact the 24-hour non-emergency number 101.
“If anybody has any mobile phone footage or dash-cam footage of the incident, please get in touch.”
