As previously announced, Milton Keynes City Orchestra bagged the 2017 Milton Keynes Business Achievement Award for Cultural Impact, last week.
The category was introduced at the MKBAA for the first time this year, to mark the 50th anniversary of MK and the growing cultural ambition of the City.
“Receiving this award for positive cultural impact is a massive boost and recognition of our work over the last four years," said the orchestra chairman.
"We have radically changed the business operating model, reducing overheads, modernising accounting and operating systems and improving audience engagement, while delivering an education and outreach programme in the community," they added.
