A fast moving Milton Keynes company has been announced as a key sponsor for one of the city’s most exciting sports teams.
Digital marketing agency 123 Internet Group, have become the first new sponsor of the season at ice hockey club MK Lightning by sponsoring both the home bench, and a corner board.
Scott Jones, of 123 Internet Group, said: “Opportunities like this don’t strike twice. MK Lightning is one of the fastest growing, and the most exciting sports team in Milton Keynes at the moment.
“As a fast growing and ambitious company, we share many of the same values as MK Lightning.
"We have to have lightning fast reactions to respond to our customers and seek creative solutions when big problems threaten to crash them into the barriers!”
Scott hopes his partnership of MK Lightning will be the start of something special for his company and the ice hockey team.
“We plan to be alongside the team for the long haul,” he said.
“Sport has its wins and losses just as business has its ups and downs but we’ll both have our eyes on the prizes, for championships and growth into the future.”
Lightning’s commercial manager, Sarah-Jane Smyth, said: “We are delighted to welcome Scott and the team from 123 Internet Group as our first new sponsor for the 2018/2019 season.
“The boards look amazing, particularly the home bench. It has been a joy getting to know Scott and the team, we are looking forward to working with them.”
