Milton Keynes MPs Ben Everitt and Iain Stewart have been lobbying the Government for a new Maternity and Children’s Hospital in the city.
Both the Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Health Secretary Matt Hancock visited MK Hospital in the months before lockdown to meet the leadership team.
Earlier this week Ben met with the Matt Hancock to further press the case for the new hospital and believes it is needed to keep up with the demands of MK’s growth.
Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, commented: “As Milton Keynes continues to grow we need to have health care that can cope with the needs of the city and a brand new Maternity and Children’s Hospital would do just that.
