Local thrill seekers are being invited to take a giant leap for Willen Hospice this spring by taking part in their annual tandem skydive.
The jump will be led by the professional skydiving team at Hinton in the Hedges airfield in Brackley on Sunday, May 13.
Anyone thinking about signing up is invited to an information evening to find out more at Willen Hospice on Monday (Feb 5) at 6pm.
Sarah Sweet-Rowley, events manager at Willen Hospice, said: “Our skydive is the challenge of a lifetime. As well as being a truly unforgettable experience, it’s an incredibly brave way to raise vital funds to support the care we provide at Willen Hospice.”
The skydive has become a popular part in the charity’s annual events calendar.
Lia Christodoulou has previously taken part. She said: “I absolutely loved my skydive, it was a fantastic experience. The team from Willen and the airfield were amazing and so supportive. I would definitely recommend giving it a go!”
There is a sign up fee of £250 to do the jump, with a fundraising target of £250. Booking is open until Friday 9 February.
To find out more, visit the information evening on Monday at 6pm at Willen Hospice, Milton Road, Willen, Milton Keynes, MK15 9AB.
