Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Bletchley.
At around 12.20am on Saturday (Feb 8) a man and a woman were on Queensway when they were approached by a group of four people from the direction of Princes Avenue.
An argument began between the group and the couple. One of the group pulled out a baseball bat and tried to hit the man on the head, which he managed to block with his hand.
The group then ran towards Captain Ridley’s Shooting Party pub where they started throwing plastic chairs at the man.
They then ran off along Queensway in the direction of Fenny Stratford.
The victim sustained a puncture wound to his hand and bruising and swelling. He received treatment at Milton Keynes University Hospital and has since been discharged.

The group were three boys and a girl, all white and aged between 15 and 17-years-old.
The boy who hit the victim is described as a white boy, aged 15 to 17-years-old. He is around 5ft 4ins tall and had short, floppy black hair. He was riding a white mountain bike.
The girl in the group is described as having mousey-coloured long, curly hair.
Investigating officer PC Paul Mabbutt, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have seen this incident take place or who has any information to get in touch. Whilst the offence took place just after midnight, this area would have been busy so I believe someone will have seen something that could help with this investigation.
